Man Kills Wife Over Fear He Had Given Her HIV

A wife has been killed by her own husband over an HIV fear and it's
making international headline news.
64-year-old Eugene Maraventano killed his wife, Janet, 63, because she
was ill and he was worried that he gave her HIV, cancer, or another
disease.
And he was having this worry because he had slept with prostitutes and
feared he had contracted HIV or other diseases and passed them onto
his wife Janet -- though no one knows what his wife was suffering
from.

So, while the wife was sleeping, Eugene attacked her with a kitchen
knife and stabbed her to death. He confessed to having considered
buying a gun to kill her, but decided not to because he's not a
violent person.

After stabbing his wife the suspect allegedly tried to commit suicide,
but instead decided to kill his 27-year-old son Bryan. Because he felt
bad for him as he doesn't "have a girlfriend" and "plays video games"
all day. So he went into his son's room and stabbed him twice.

According to the medical reports, Janet and Bryan had been dead for a
few days before Maraventano called 911. He is currently facing two
counts of first-degree murder.

According to the Nigerianfilms, a certain Kenyan model and actor Ephy
Muriithi, in a phone interview with them, has claimed Pete Edochie is
indeed his father.
Ephy said his mother told him so but the veteran actor has on several
occassions denied his paternity.

Ephy Muriithi aka Ephy Saint reigns supreme as a big celebrity in
Nairobi, Kenya. He also auditioned to represent his country in the 8th
season of Big Brother Africa.
And he would love to be buried in Nigeria where his father, Pete
Edochie resides.

Shocking Man Sells His 6months Old Baby For His Visa

The insane things people now do for money is something else.

A father, Mr Onyekachi Ekwelum, who sold his six-month-old son to raise money to process his travel documents, has been caught and charged before a magistrate in court to defend his action.

Mr Ekwelum allegedly hatched and executed the act without the consent of the wife, but the lid was blown off by his 20-year-old spouse, Ozioma, when she could not find their son and reported the matter to the police.
It was discovered that her husband wanted to abandon her and travel to Greece.

The Abia State commissioner of Police, Mr Usman Abubakar Tilli, who disclosed this to newsmen in his office on Monday said the police mounted a man hunt that led to the rescue of the child and the arrest of the suspects.
It was gathered that the young wife is still in shock over her husband's action.

Margaret Thatcher Iron Lady Dead at 87

The first — and still only — female prime minister in Britain's history, Margaret Thatcher is dead.
 She had died Monday morning of a stroke. She was 87.
Margaret was nicknamed Iron lady for her toughness.

Reports say Margaret will not have a state funeral but will be accorded the same status as Princess Diana and the Queen Mother.
The ceremony, with full military honours, will take place at London's St Paul's Cathedral.

Mercy Aigbe Denies She Was Disgraced By Husband - 'There's No Iota Of Truth In That!'

Earlier on today, news broke out that actress Mercy Aigbe was disgraced by her husband in public after he caught her in a night gown at an event.

According to the story by Stella Dimokokorkus, yesterday Sunday April 7,2013, a little drama played out in Lagos between Actress Mercy and her hubby Lanre.
Sola Fajobi,  NextMovieStar and Supermom owner had invited Mercy Aigbe to attend his recorded show for Oodua Amounmaworan (TV). It was a star studded show attended by Mercy's husband and friends.
So slightly before the show ended, Mercy just vanished and everybody started looking for her including her hubby, Lanre Gentry.

After like an hour or so, the hubby forced the MC to announce that he was looking for his wife and when that didn't work, he stood up a with fierce look and began causing a scene.
When it was obvious he meant business, they later took him to a room where his darling wife who has arrived the venue in a short black dress with her back bare had changed to a night gown!!!

Enraged hubby Lanre  dragged her out in the night gown and threw her into his SUV and drove angrily out of the venue whilst shocked onlookers looked on!''
And that Mercy' s car, a Nissan Solaria is in front of Sola Fajobi's Troy Lounge in Ogba.

Stella wondered why Mercy had changed into a night gown in a room whilst her hubby was in the recording room watching the show being recorded?
And that she (Stella) had no answers to that question and denials are free of course!

Gunmen Burn Adamawa Deputy Governor’s House, Kill 11 people

No fewer than 11 persons have been killed and many injured in an early
morning attack on Midlu village in Adamawa state, while staging an
attack on the residence of the state's Deputy Governor.

The Police spokesman in the state, Mohammed Ibrahim, confirmed the
attack, stating that unidentified gunmen raided Midlu village, in
Madagali Local Government Area of the state, and attacked the home of
the state Deputy Governor, Bala Ngalari.

The bandits killed two policemen attached to the country home of the
Deputy Governor Bala James Ngilari and burnt his house. And then
killed 11 other residents of the area.


The police officer failed to provide further details on the incident.

"So far, the information available to me is that 11 people lost their
lives in the village, including two private security men at the Deputy
Governor's house" Mr. Ibrahim said.

However, agency reports, say the gunmen went from house-to-house,
picking out their victims, who they even called by name.
They shoot at the residents leaving some dead, and others seriously injured.

Over 100 people were burnt to death when the accident occurred yesterday.
A fuel tanker with registration number GA 71 XA had exploded in the
accident that involved three heavy duty vehicles; a Young Shall Grow
Motors luxury bus, a Dangote truck carrying cement and the fuel tanker
on the Benin-Ore expressway.
